7. A Child Called It

A Child Called It Price: $8.60 at amazon.com
This is absolutely the most heart-rending book I have ever read. I actually had to put the book down for a couple of days because the material was so intensely gut wrenching. You must have nerves of steal while you read this story of child abuse. I mulled over the terrifying, sad, sad story for days after I finished. Books two and three are not quite as heart twisting, but you will want all three books. You can’t read book one and not ever find out how his life turned out when finally taken from his abusive mother.

A few of these books are simply great tear- jerkers. If you don't like to cry, do not read these books. Have you read a really sad book lately. I would love for you to let me know the title.

try "the fault in our stars"

I just read Never Let Me Go. It's a really amazing book, and I get teared up just thinking about it- and I don't cry that much. There's a movie coming out soon too. Highly recommend it!

I'm surprised that Sarah's Keys isn't here..

Oh how I hate books that make me cry. I hate them so much that I remeber reading "Tuck Everlasting" and crying, one of the saddest books I had ever read at the time that I have a mental block about the content, I just remember the title.

A Child Called It absolutely turned my stomach sour. I couldn't believe the terrible things that poor child went through. The saddest part of it all is how many children suffer each year due to this kind of abuse and no one ever knows about it. That's amazing, I just bought "The Book Theif." I can't wait to read it now!

Try "The blue notebook" ! It's alittle like The child called "it" just this one's about child prostitution. It's a very sad book! It took me weeks to get over the sadness after reading it.

On a lighter note books made me cry before each of my exam nights and I am happy they are not going to do this anymore ;)

The Book Thief!

The books 'For One More Day' and 'Tuesdays with Morrie' by Mitch Albom are really good tear-jerkers. You might want to read it for a good cry.. :)

I read A Walk to Remember at least once a year and I cry every time! It's gotten so silly. Haha
