Kym Ellery is not exactly a new fashion designer since she has been on the scene for a few years now. But, she has created her label and started showing it only recently. She is a big hit with fans who love her sense of shape and her jubilant colors. Sensuality and humor seems to drip from her collection. She has been nominated for LMFF Designer award.

4. Charlotte Taylor

Taylor lists grannies and penguins as her inspirations and her collection is made up of imminently wearable clothes. Although she was offered a job by Luella, she launched her own label and is seeing a lot of success just a year after graduating.

5. Hexa by Kuho

Jung Kuho has worked with some great emerging brands in Asian fashion capital Seoul and it shows in his collection. His collection may be defined as deconstructed and he has a number of draped designs in lovely colors like cornflower blue, pale pink and ochre.

6. Caterina Gatta

27 year old Gatta is based in Rome and the Italian influence on her collection is apparent. Her dresses have great elegant lady-like cuts and shapes and the colors and designs are lively and cheerful. She also obviously pays a lot of attention to fabric. Her collection is one of the most popular street wear collections and she is hailed by many, including Vogue Italia, as one of the new and emerging fashion designers of 2011.

7. Hakaan Yildirim

He shot to fame with his futuristic power dressing collection. This Istanbul based designer has captured the fashion scene in Paris and the hearts of many fans with his sleek designs, beautiful cuts and choice of colors.
