CQ Store Review Zara Covent Garden

By Isabelle

Kim and I went into Zara today to see what new items they have for summer. According to Kim Zara is now the most popular high street retailer in the UK, which is probably down to their slightly terrifying rate of expansion over the last few months. First up is this seersucker jacket, seersucker is such a good fabric for summer and it looks even better tailored and lined. Click the image to see the bias detail on the sleeves, well worth the £39. The rest of our finds were dresses, basically there was nothing but dresses and tunics and jackets in the store as we searched for things to delight you. See after the jump to find out what else we found.

I love the first dress on the left, very smart with the embellishments at the bust hem, embellishments seem to be everywhere at the moment. It is £79 so maybe one for a wedding or some other flashy occasion. We both liked the cheery tunic, which you could wear as a dress but you'd definitely need to crack out some shorts to wear underneath. It was cheaper than their other buys at £25. Next, Kim's favourite, this silky patterned tunic looks great, really luxurious but not too dressy and only £39. My favourite was this poppy print drawstring dress, really gorgeous light fabric but the £79 price tag is a bit steep for something I could knock up on my sewing machine in an hour. If I had the fabric.
