The brush has a double action:
Step 1: Use long bristles to stretch the mascara formula from root to tip. Intensely lengthens lashes without clumping.

Step 2: Use short bristles to deposit formula at the base of the lashes, emphasizing roots for a liner effect. It will look as though you have used a pencil kohl in the inside rim of your lashes, without the hassle!

The mascara formula is enriched with kohl to intensify the result. For an intense glance that will surely be irresistible!
My Experience:
I thought this was quite a novel mascara but I wasn’t sure if my hand would be steady enough to do a good job! It’s a clever brush design with two lengths of bristles, but I had a feeling there was more required than good design and I was right! I managed to get a nice application of mascara without clumping. However, when it came to using the short bristles I found it difficult to get a smooth, even line similar to eyeliner. I ended up having to tidy it up with a cotton bud! Perhaps practice makes perfect but I think I will stick to a separate eye-liner!
