It seems like every time you turn on the TV, there’s another commercial for another diet, exercise, or beauty product. Every once in a while, I see one I absolutely must try, but there are others I’d never buy… until I see one of my fave celebs on board! For instance, I’d never have considered trying Wen until I saw the gorgeous Alyssa Milano pushing it… now I have to try it! Here are 7 other beauty products endorsed by celebrities.
After seeing this commercial, I loathe my shampoo and conditioner and anti-frizz serum. It’s totally their fault my hair is unruly and not shiny! I mean, look at Alyssa Milano’s hair in these commercials. If this is all she uses, then truly, Wen is a thing of the future. Hey, though… do you think maybe she uses something else, too?
The celebrity endorsements for Proactiv run the gamut, from Julianne Hough, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Avril Lavigne, and Mandy Moore to my favorite pop princess, Katy Perry. Really? Do all of these celebs have acne-prone skin that’s been miraculously cleared by Proactiv? Yes, I really think they do!
I have to say, I love this commercial, but that’s probably partially because I’m from the Motor City and everyone here, without exception, is a die-hard fan of Chrysler (along with GM and Ford) and local boy Eminem. Like Mike Rowe for Ford, he stars in an ad for the new (and gorgeous) Chrysler 200. I know people from outside of Detroit may not get this commercial but we do… and we love it! This is the Motor City and this is what we do...
Super-adorable Taylor Swift is one of my favorite celebrities, so since she’s started speaking for NatureLux, I’m dying to try it! She does seem like such a good fit for this product, being a natural beauty herself.
I get extreme giggles every time I see the Hanes underwear commercial with Sarah Chalke… are Hanes panties really wedgie-free? Now I want to buy them and find out… thanks to this, and the “department store” commercial with Sarah Chalke.
I’ve always thought fashionistas Stacy London had the most gorgeous hair, and now we all know why — she uses Pantene! Granted, she also has a load of stylists and professionals to work on her ‘do, but I like to think the Pantene had something to do with it, too. I admit I use Pantene’s Brunette Expressions line… do I have hair as sleek and shiny as Stacy? No, but someday I will!
I’ve always thought country super-star Carrie Underwood had gorgeous, youthful-looking, radiant skin. Apparently, her secret is Olay! I get the feeling she really does use Olay in her every-day life, don’t you? It’s so much less expensive than some boutique brands, but it does seem to work for her.
OMG, that Chrysler commercial with Eminem makes me all emotional, and who wouldn’t want to look as undeniably gorgeous as Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift?
