Find out where the food you eat comes from, what’s in it, and how it can be beneficial to buy local, organic foods, or to even grow your own. You can also use the menu planner and recipe finders to choose recipes with specific ingredients, from artichokes to zucchini and everything in between.

Simply enter the name of a food, and this calculator will tell you how many calories are in one serving, as well as what a serving size ought to be, and which food group it belongs to. You can also compare two foods to see which is the more healthful choice.

A lot of people don't like fruits and vegetables because they've never had them prepared correctly or had them in season.why not try different cooking methods ( broil, steam , bbq !). It's a good idea to experiement as different foods taste differrent when cooked using different methods. But eating fruits and vegies is the best excuse to go on a diet.
