The 59th Primetime Emmy Awards - Best Dressed

Best Dressed Award
Rebecca Romijn wore a beautiful vintage Guy Laroche gown. I love what she did with her hair.

Best Gold Award
Eva Longoria is stunning in this Kaufman Franco gold sequined dress. I would have preferred strappy sandals with this dress though.

Risk That Paid Off Award
I actually love this Kevan Hall mint feathered gown on Vanessa Williams. She took a risk and it paid off.

Best Hair Award
Jennifer Morrison is stunning in this Elie Saab Fall 2007 Couture gown. The hair, the dress, the shoes, all perfect.

Biggest Smile Award
Ali Larter was wearing as strapless red Reem Acra Resort 2008 gown.

The Gwen Stefani Best Red Lips Award
Katherine Heigl wore a white Zac Posen Resort 2008 gown, which showed off her perfect figure.

Best Plunging Neckline Award
This is the second time I have featured Sarah Chalke on my blog, and again she looks fantastically beautiful. Here she was wearing a Monique Lhuiller Fall 2007 pale pink gown.

Best Strapless Award
Lisa Rinna does elegant in this white strapless floor-length gown with a thigh high split. I love the embellishments on the hip.

Best Colour Award
Thank god America Ferrera did not wear black for a change. She was beautiful in this royal blue strapless Monique Lhuiller dress.

Her gorgeous slender figure shows that those Glamour magazine photos were not photoshopped after all.

Most Surprising Award
I really love this outfit on Eva La Rue. It is so far and away from anything I would have thought Eva would wear, as she tends to over dress on the red carpet.

Here she is elegant, demure, regal even.

Best Invisible Make-Up Award
Sandra Oh wore a Bottega Veneta Fall 2007 strapless black gown with pink chiffon added to the bodice of this dress.

She seems to be wearing minimal make-up and still looks gorgeous.

Most Improved Award
Terri Hatcher continues to be the perfect brand ambassador by wearing a Badgley Mischka Spring 2008 pink satin gown.

Best Pregnant Award
Christina Aguilera does her best to cover her baby bump in this Valentino Fall 2007 pink satin gown.

Crazy Hairstyle That Works Award
Ellen Pompeo nearly went into the worst dressed list because of her hair. Then I decided that something would be wrong if everything was right with Ellen.

Ellen wore this sweetheart necklined Michael Kors Fall 2007 gown.

Chris De Burgh "Lady In Red" Award
I love that Mary Louise Parker decided not to got with red lips to match the red Dolce & Gabbana dress, as it would have been overkill.

Best Hair Cut Award
Mariska Hargitay looks stunning with a shorter do wearing Zac Posen.

Best Tween Award
Kristen Bell is pretty in baby blue.

Best Senior Award
This dress is a fabulous colour on Sally Fields.

Best Black Award
Jennifer Love-Hewitt looks surprisingly good wearing Reem Acra. I like that she did not over do it or go too prom.

Best Couple Award
Ellen DeGeneres in Gucci and partner Portia de Rossi in Azzaro are the perfectly coordinated couple.

Jaime Pressly picked an interesting choice by wearing St. John Couture.

At first glance I hated it, but on camera it just sparkled.

Edie Falco picked a black gown with flowered embellishments, that turned a boring black dress into a dress that allowed her to stand out.

Ana Ortiz wore a sexy strapless violet Escada sequined dress and teamed it with a ruby clutch.

I found Kyra Sedgwick Oscar De La Renta dress very interesting in its design, which is why she is on the best dressed list.

Every now and then Minnie Driver looks amazing on the red carpet. This is one of those times.

The canary satin Donna Karen gown is so hot on her.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is right on the purple trend in this sexy Narciso Rodriguez dress.

It burns me that Kimora Lee Simmons is on my best dressed list, but give credit were credit is due.
