Naughty or nice? 7 tips on keeping it nice is right below. Santa is coming to town very soon and I don’t know about you, but I would definitely enjoy being on his nice list. You know, because he brings all the good boys and girls lots of gifts.
In order to get on that nice list this year, you should learn about the word “forgiveness.” Yes, my friends, forgiveness will get you far in life. If someone makes a mistake, then you can easily forgive them. Learn how not to hold grudges – holding grudges for small things will get you nowhere.
That smile is going to let people around you know that you are pleasant and inviting. Also, smiling, even if you do not feel like it will release a chemical in your body that will make you feel happy. If you do not believe me, try it and see. Remember, even if something is getting you down, shed a smile and you may feel better.
When you are walking past someone, say “hi” to them, even if you do not know the person. Adding a smile to it can make it even more friendly. I probably fail in this one, but I think I pass in the rest of the tips I am giving you.
A naughty person would be a bad listener, right? So, if you want to be on that nice list, you need to be a good listener. It isn’t just Santa that will like this – people around you will like it as well. You will also benefit from being a good listener. This will show those around you that you actually care about what they are saying.
In life, you should be positive – you do not have time for all of that negative activity. In any given situation, continue looking for the positive side to things. Remember, most things do have a positive side.
When you think someone needs help, then offer them some help. Even if someone is doing something simple, such as carrying bags, you should still offer them help.
That’s right, I am all for open opinion, but to a certain extent. If you can’t put what you need to say in a nice way, then don’t say it at all. You will only upset those you say it to. I’m sure, some out there are going to disagree with me on this one and that is okay – but, I’ll choose not to talk bad about someone.
