Gucci Spring 2008
Black and white was the base of this collection, with bright yellow and bubblegum pink added to various pieces.
This collection had everything from slim trousers, large belts, day dresses, swimwear, short skirts, evening gowns and of course great shoes.
Roberto Cavalli Spring 2008
I expected skin-tight ensembles, thigh high splits, animal print, all sexy, all in your face, but not this time.
Cavalli got romantic. Long, loose-fitting silk dresses decorated with giant tropical flowers or cloudlike coats made of feathers dyed to resemble petals.
The palette was soft nudes, pale pinks, and fluid dresses had watercolour prints of lilies.
A nice surprising change.
Alberta Ferretti Spring 2008
This collection had many delicate pieces, not too delicate that they look too fine and fragile. But delicate enough to caress your skin.
There were many above the knee dresses, skirts, chemise dresses and slouchy pants. Ferretti's designs were topped off with intricate sequins and bead work.
Emporio Armani Spring 2008
Nudes, pale blues, violets and greys were used for Giorgio's young Emporio Armani collection, with splashes of silver and sequins.
Looser Knickerbockers were used in this collection, which had also been used in his grown-up Giorgio Armani collection on Monday.
This was a very sexy collection. I especially loved the skirts that appeared knotted at the front.
