When the news first broke about the new **TSA regulations banning liquids in carry-on baggage**, I was tipped off by my blogger pals from **The Scented Salamander** and **A Girl's Gotta Spa** that solid lotion bars were a great way to stay moisturized on board without some pesky TSA agent confiscating your tube of L'Occitane.

Shannon of **A Girl's Gotta Spa** is a rep for **Country Bunny**, a bath and body company famous for its rabbit-embossed lotion bars - perfect for air travel since they're housed in individual tins that keep them from making contact with anything else in your bag. I - along with **Beauty Addict press secretary Kathy**, aka Mom - recently had a chance to try them out.

The Country Bunny lotion bar is a three-inch round bar of coconut, safflower, canola, apricot kernel, and sweet almond oils in a beeswax base, which allows it to keep its shape while you rub it on your skin. The beeswax makes it a bit heavier than regular lotions and creams, but it acts as an excellent barrier between your skin and the elements (especially the notoriously dry air in pressurized airplane cabins).

The consistency makes it perfect for use both overnight and on long-haul flights; by the time you wake up in the morning or land in your destination city, all will have been absorbed and your skin will feel supple and lovely. I was amazed at what it did for my incredibly stubborn elbows over a mere six hours of shut-eye (and Mom said the same about her heels).

The lotion bar is available in a variety of scents plus an unscented variety; I fell hard for the Oatmeal Milk & Honey, which smells very much like **this** and the almond variety of **this**. The Satin Shea Body Butter in the same scent is equally lovely and has a smooth texture that's hard to beat; it absorbs quickly and is far less greasy than other shea butter-based creams.

And how darling are these? Little bath oil beads in bunny and sun shapes; I almost didn't want to use them because they were so cute. (But I did, of course. And they were worth it.)

Shannon has certainly made a Country Bunny out of this city bunny! Visit her at https://www.biglakespa.com** to check out all her Country Bunny goodies.
