Looking for things to do this Valentine’s Day in Las Vegas? Sure, Sin City is known as the gambling capital of the world. Nevertheless, it has so much more to offer those looking for romantic things to do in Las Vegas. From spellbinding performances like Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles: Love to the Venetian Resort’s gondola rides, lush restaurants, and spa treatments, there’s plenty of fun and romance to be found.

Cirque du Soleil, a Canadian entertainment company, is responsible for producing contemporary circus spectacles and many of the best shows in Vegas. And there are no better shows in Vegas tonight if you are looking for a romantic date night destination. Try starting your dreamy evening with a stroll through the Venetian Resort — an ideal way to soak in the romantic side of Vegas.

Visitors will feel as if they’ve been transported to Italy thanks to the resort's gorgeous baroque paintings on the ceilings, world-class Italian opera singers, and beautiful gondolas drifting down the Grand Canal. You can ride an indoor or outdoor gondola, which provides the perfect opportunity to snuggle with your sweetie while floating under bridges and alongside stunning scenery as a gondolier serenades you. Rides are available seven days a week, so it’s always the right time to fall in love all over again at the Venetian Resort.

The Venetian is connected to the Palazzo Resort, where you can take a souvenir snapshot with your beloved at the brilliant red “Love” sculpture inside the gorgeous Waterfall Atrium. Another great photo opportunity and cute way for couples to connect is taking in the famous Fountains of Bellagio. Watching the water dance against the brilliant backdrop of the Bellagio Hotel and the Eiffel Tower replica is a must-see in Vegas. If you’re hungry for affection and a fantastic meal with a view of the fountains, make reservations at The Mayfair Supper Club, Wolfgang Puck’s Spago, or Lago by Julian Serrano.

Cirque du Soleil: A Must See in Vegas Since 1993

There are currently six unique Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas: Kà, Mad Apple, Michael Jackson: One, Mystère, O, and The Beatles: Love In addition to the awe-inspiring contemporary circus showcases, those looking to elevate the experience even further can get the VIP treatment with backstage tours and meet and greet opportunities.

The innovative entertainment company made its Las Vegas debut in 1992. The Nouvelle Expérience enjoyed a yearlong residency at the Mirage Hotel. While the show, featuring extremely talented Las Vegas performers, took place under a traditional big top, it quickly gained a reputation for transforming the classic style of circus into an enthrallingly modern, stylish, acrobatic razzle-dazzle.

In fact, the Nouvelle Expérience was such a hit that a theater was built specifically for Cirque du Soleil at the Treasure Island Hotel in 1993. Mirage resorts signed the astonishing production to a 10-year contract to perform the riveting, over-the-top spectacular Mystère. Today it’s still in demand at Treasure Island and is considered by many to be one of the best shows in Vegas. What makes it so endearing and enduring?

According to Cirque du Soleil, Mystère is “a jaunty, music-stuffed adventure bright with color, athleticism, and bubbly buddies.” The humorous show pokes fun at the lighter side of life through wild stunts and laugh-out-loud gags, which makes it the perfect choice for couples looking for a fun date night activity.

Whether you’re a fan of the Fab Four or not, The Beatles: Love is all you need if you’re looking for last minute tickets in Las Vegas. “The show is the closest anyone can get to being in the studio with the band,” said music director Giles Martin. He’s the son of The Beatles’ music producer Sir George Martin who, since the summer of 1963, played an integral role in creating the sound that made John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison the most famous band in the world.

The Beatles: Love is the ultimate love letter to rock ’n’ roll and one of the most romantic shows on the Las Vegas strip. Unlock the magic inside the Mirage at the custom-made theater, where the intriguing show wows with incredible, technologically advanced acrobatic acts, colorful costumes, and captivating choreography. The three-time Grammy-winning show will keep you on the edge of your seat with its talented cast of world-class aerialists and acrobats.

For a longer, leisurely repast, you can upgrade the package to include a sensual dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Sweethearts flock to the High Roller at The LINQ Much like how Cirque du Soleil transformed the old-school circus into a full-on entertainment extravaganza, the High Roller puts a modern spin on the traditional fairgrounds favorite, the Ferris wheel. Couples can cuddle and kiss in their own pod, which rotates around one of the world’s tallest observation wheels, during an open bar happy hour.

After riding the phenomenal wheel, sizzling duos can chill out at any of the three exotic, picturesque Minus5 Icebar locations. This is a must see in Vegas because everything, except the floor and ceiling, is composed of 90 tons of ice. It’s a real winter wonderland in the middle of the Mojave Desert. If you come dressed for a hot night on the town, don’t worry; parkas, hats, gloves, and blankets are provided, along with drinks served in ice glasses. In addition to the Minus5 Icebar inside the Linq Promenade, the cool cocktail lounge can also be found at Mandalay Bay and the Venetian

A couple’s massage, followed by a couple’s bath, is an excellent way to recharge and reconnect while getting pampered in a sexy setting. The Bellagio Spa and Salon offers numerous couples packages ranging from 50 to 100 minutes. The Tranquility package includes access to the private Watsu pool.

Reserve the deluxe Sahra spa penthouse suite inside the Cosmopolitan to unlock the ultimate couples spa experience in Las Vegas this weekend. The Sahra Spa, Salon, and Hammam penthouse suite includes two side-by-side whirlpools, a wet bar, and a steam room. It even has its own VIP elevator access. And the spa staff is ready to pamper couples with a range of amenities, including aromatherapy, therapeutic stone massage based on Hawaiian healing principles, and a CBD option to relax the nervous system and melt away any aches and pains.

The Spa at Encore is another excellent choice for visitors looking for a cozy couple’s massage. The Good Luck Ritual ignites the senses with peppermint foot treatments, deeply moisturizing hand therapy, and organic scalp massages for two. The Spa at Encore also offers the couple’s retreat option, which includes a bath big enough for two along with a soothing body polish and steam shower, followed by a hydrating customized massage featuring aromatic oils.
