Be Our Guest

Our guest list has been finalized!!! We will be officially inviting about 175 people but expecting just barely 150 - to go along with that whole rule that 20% will not show up. I have to even wonder if we will be more like 30% declining since our wedding is actually going to be an out-of-town even for just about ever single guest - including our family members!

The wedding invitations that we picked are from a seller on ebay who also has a website called ILoveThisCard.com. I found the seller by searching on ebay for "asian wedding invitation" and I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the design and quality of the work. This is what we will be using for our invites:

All of the cards are hand-made by a lovely lady named Diorbhle McGraw. She has an impeccable sense of style AND sense of composition and her workmanship is very high quality.

The cost of our invitations (without shipping) will be somewhere around $3.75/invitation and RSVP card (WITH envelopes printed with addresses!) and we will be adding our own "info" and map cards to the whole invitation package and sealing it all up together in envelopes that I still have to scout down and find. From what I've priced, the price that we are paying for our invites is WONDERFUL and I am really excited to be able to finally order them with our guest list now taken care of.

Check out Diorbhle's designs at her site! She does all kinds of stationary and I've had a number of exchanges with her via email is she is SO nice! I think my future mother-in-law might even be considering rehearsal dinner invites from her. :)
