These days most people live and die by their mobile phones. There seems to be an app for everything. Personally, I have a soft spot for photo editing apps. Listed below are a few iPhone and Android photo editing apps for you to try out.

This app is great for making your digital photos look analog. This app allows you to swap lenses, flashes, and adjust settings with ease. Your photos will come out looking lo-fi and dreamy. I love the saturated colours that this app produces.

This is one of the most popular photo editing iPhone apps around. Simply snap a picture and enhance it using one of 11 filters. It’s simple and easy to use, and produces great looking photos. Instagram promotes photo sharing, and allows for photos to easily be uploaded to Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter.

This is such a cool app. Simply take a photo and choose from one of seven different effects. My favourite is the ‘Polandroid’ effect which places an instant film border around your images. Other effects such as ‘Fisheye’ and ‘Warhol’ are also fun to play around with.

This is the mobile equivalent of Photoshop. You can crop, rotate, and edit all your photos. What’s more, you can add and access photos from your very own free Photoshop.com account. This app is also available in iPhone and iPad versions.
