This is a classic! I love these for breakfast… you’ll need 4 cups of sliced fresh strawberries, 1 banana, 1 cup of vanilla or strawberry yogurt, and a handful of ice cubes. Toss everything but the ice into the blender and blend until almost smooth. Add the ice cubes, and blend until almost smooth again. I like to serve these with a little orange juice in them, too… try it!
Take a quick trip to the tropics without leaving the house with these delicious smoothie treats! I love this smoothie because it’s such a gorgeous color, and because it tastes so good… and it gives e such an energy boost! You’ll need to peel and slice 3 carrots, then cook them in a small pot with a little less than 1 cup of water tilt he carrots are soft. Throw them and the cooking water into the blender with about 1¾ cup of apple juice and two ice cubes. Blend until almost smooth… it’s such a unique smoothie!
