7. Dress in Neutrals
For clothes, try dressing in neutrals. I noticed many "cool" girls doing this one. Neutral colors may suite you perfectly. You could add some cool jewelry to it too. I really like dragon and crystal pendants along with skulls.
6. Don't Care What Others Think
Cool girls always have their own interests and opinions. They do not care what other people think of them – just do it in a respectful manner. Take me for an example, if I have something to say, I am going to say it, but I am going to put it in a nice way. By nice, I mean no name calling or pointing fingers. You should also dress however you want to dress.

It's all about confidence and staying true to yourself. Whether you're rocking a vintage tee or dressing to the nines, own it with your head held high. Remember, coolness isn't about conforming; it's about standing out. So if you love that quirky hat or those bold prints, wear them with pride. Judgement might come, but it's your happiness and self-expression that matters most. As long as you're being kind and authentic, you're already the coolest girl in any room you step into.
5. Don't Complain
Come on, since when do you see a cool girl complaining about things? Hey, I'm talking about cool girls, not the rude girls or whiny girls. I can't stand people who complain. Sure, the job may not be done right, but that doesn't mean you have to be so rude about it. Cool girls just go with the flow and if they absolutely have to complain, they should do it nicely.
4. Learn How to Relax
Just because you are a "cool" girl does not mean that you have to be a super hyper girl. You need to learn how to relax and chill.

It's all about balance – being able to kick back and enjoy the vibe of any situation.

2. Have a Nice Room
You don't have to keep it super clean, but you should keep it clean. It wouldn't hurt to have a couple of cool pictures – perhaps one of your favorite movie and favorite band. You may also want to put some cool blacklight stuff in your room.

It is okay to go online and chat safely on a blog or in a chat room with those that share the same interest in your. Just make sure you get your parents permission, if you are under the age of 18. When you do this, make sure you use proper grammar, please? DON'T "tiPe lYk Dis." Remember, you should maintain your class and no try to have bad grammar on purpose – big pet peeve of mine.
Wow, those 7 tricks on being a "cool" girl might just work for you! That is, as long as you follow them. Sometimes, being a cool girl is all about being yourself and not pretending to be something that you aren't. Also, being cool does not mean you have to follow in someone else's footsteps, have a gang, do drugs, skipping school and having sex – that is not such a cool girl. Sandy: I find this article utterly ridiculous and contradictory. There is not one way to be "cool". "Cool" is arbitrary. Moreover, tip one says wear nude colors, and the next says where whatever you want. What is the obvious conclusion? Being cool is not defined by a set of guidelines - be yourself and enjoy it. I find articles like this disappointing. If you want to wear bold colors, or if you don't want to hang band posters on your walls then that is just fine! Stay true to yourself, embrace who you are, and know that you're unique personality is what makes you sexy. That's cool.
Michelle: Why are you guys being so mean to Melanie? I actually like this blog post, even if it does seem contradictory. Wearing what you want doesn't mean you cannot include nude colours. Do what you feel most comfortable with, but these are SUGGESTIONS, NOT exactly RULES.
