Working 8 to 9 hour days, 5 days a week can be hard! Somedays you take a lunch, but some days lunch never comes... But you don’t have to starve waiting for lunch time, try these healthy snacks that will get you through those long hours at work!
1. Almonds

This is my favorite snack of all time at work. Just one handful can satisfy hunger! Almonds are also healthy and full of protein and iron. You can eat these throughout the day to curb your appetite! I eat a handful between breakfast and lunch.
2. Carrots
I just love crunching on carrots! They’re good at keeping your teeth strong and it is said that they help with eyesight. If you're not a fan of carrots, try dipping them in a little ranch dressing... yum!
3. Small Salad
When you’ve just gone too long between breakfast and lunch and lunch isn’t for another half hour... A small salad is very healthy add croutons, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, sliced carrot - it’s almost like a full meal and it will hold you over until lunchtime! You can also eat it with your lunch and it will keep you satisfied until dinnertime...
4. Sun Chips
When I don’t want to feel like I am eating healthy, or want to pretend that I am having some junk food, I eat these chips! Although they are chips, they are made with whole grain wheat which makes them healthier than grabbing a bag of Lay’s or Better Made potato chips! They come in several different flavors, too. They do make you feel a little full so I eat them with my lunch!
5. Cherry Tomatoes

If you are not a fan of tomatoes like myself, you will love these Cherry Tomatoes! They have a sweet taste to them and they are the size of grapes which makes them easier to eat!
6. Apples (Pre-Sliced)
As a kid, I used to eat apples all the time but then as I got older I hated biting into the apple. The apple slices make it easier to eat and they keep you satisfied through out the day and providing you with good Vitamin C.
7. Raisins
I love raisins! They’re so fun to me! You can never have enough raisins... I eat these throughout my day at work along with the almonds, almost like my own trail mix! Several handfuls a day of raisins are very good for you... lots of fiber...
