The best part about love is that it’s unpredictable and hits you when you least expect it to. You can never choose how and who you fall in love with. And that’s exactly why I love Pride and Prejudice. Also the fact, that I am a total sucker for Jane Austen’s work. And really what woman who loves to read classic romantic novels isn’t.

Simply put, The Notebook is the tale of the kind of love that most women, including myself dream of. The perfect, everlasting, unconditional kind of love that conquers all.It is a movie that will evoke every emotion that a good, old fashioned romantic movie should.Expect plenty of tears even if you are not the kind of woman who cries easily.

“Pretty Woman” DVD on Amazon.com I am sure you all have seen Pretty Woman at lease once in your life. But even so, you might want to see it again! Julia Roberts is so full of charm and Richard Geer is so sickenly handsome, you can keep falling in love with this movie over and over!

Variety.com may call it a “predictably glossy” screen adaptation of an Abba-scored musical – but let’s face it. With tried-and-tested stars like Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgard and Pierce Brosnan on the cast – who wouldn’t want to sing along with the classic Abba songs – which will literally give you a case of the Last Song Syndrome? Not to mention the fact that newcomer Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper are an eyecandy couple whose marriage the story revolves around. It’s a musical about love, laughter and friendship which deserves a spot on our list.

The one song that I can’t forget about this movie is TV Carpio’s version of “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” where she’s portrayed as a lovesick cheerleader. The movie actually revolves around the lives of Jude, played by Jim Sturgess and Lucy, played by the surprisingly strong-voiced Evan Rachel Wood. The film makes you want to download all those classic Beatles songs onto your iPod – if you don’t already have it in your music library.

“If Only”, a tale about a young singer songwriter who already built a life with her beau may have you confused – but the story works itself out in the end. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Nicholls play the enamored couple in this oh-so-touching romantic tale about what happens when you lose someone you love.

Sandra Bullock is falling in love with an unconscious man in this wonderful movie. The story gets complicated since his family thinks that she’s his girlfriend. It gets even more complicated when the guy’s brother, Bill Pullman is falling in love with Bullock. Which one will she end up with? This is a sweet and easy-going movie that you should see at least one time.
