The mascara is perfect for creating the volume AND the length, it also separates lashes greatly. Being another classic from Lancome, Hypnose is one of the best mascaras I’ve ever tried! No wonder it’s always on Beauty Best Sellers Lists!

- it might leave clumps, so we strongly recommend you try it before purchasing

2. Dior Diorshow Mascara …

Dior Diorshow is Dior’s cult-fave, super volumizing, lengthening, and curling mascara. It creates the longest, thickest, curviest lashes ever, resulting in an ultra-glam “just-off-the-catwalk” look.
Our Opinion:
Dior Diorshow is an excellent mascara, but it does not work for everyone (for me personally it came as a challenge at first, as the wand seemed too big for my little eyelashes, but it gave amazing results once I got a hand of it). The girls with longer lashes don’t face a problem like that, usually they fall in love with this mascara at first try. They say although the brush is huge, it makes their lashes look incredible, long, well separated, with a lot of volume and curl… It’s true. I’ve seen it on my eyelashes and on the eyelashes of my friends – amazing results from a top Dior mascara!
Usual Complaints:
- it smudges after a couple of hours (so it might not be recommended for those with oily skin)
- the wand is too big

T’ve used a Waterproof Lancome for years-it was ok, I wasn’t crazy about it-but it worked better than the others-I am aa bartender (in a high volume nightclub)
the ‘racoon eyes’ weren’t so bad with the Lancome-
NOW I just want a mascara that doesn’t come out all gloppy, goes on nicely AND looks fabulous-(AND wont bother my contacts making my eyes dry and red…that’s ANOTHER ‘look’ and i’d rather NOT)

I agree that the Chanel Inimitable delivered its promise. Having short and sparse lashes, this defintely made a big difference. Well worth the price tag!

Oh My Goodness!!! I cannot belive that Lancome DEFINICILS is not on this list. I have been using this mascara for so many years, and have never used anything that came close. When I use this, especially the times that i reapply a few times to get the fullest effect, people have accused me of wearing false lases! ITs that good!! Try it and you will not be disappointed, trust me! : )

I´ve tried most of Lancome’s mascaras and like many. Fatale, Hypnose, Définicils and Virtuose are all solid… but Fatale especially. My teeny tiny lashes look fab – get long and thick and it stays put for glistening tears, sweat and moderate rain. Love it.
Diorshow is absolute rubbish – overpriced and delivers nothing but smudges and clumps.
Great lash is ok for those who don’t need much help. I have a lot of low maintenance girlfriends who think it is sufficient enough.
Helena Rubinstein mascaras I used quite a lot in my teens. Spectacular and Generous and later Lash Queen I tried. Liked them at the time but doubt I would now. Lash Queen underdelivers.
Kanebo 38° mascara is a very strange mascara. What is good about it is that it is easy to wash off and yet you can go swimming in it… just not in 38° C hot water. Flaw – it kind of combines lashes so it looks a bit cartoon-ish.
Estee Lauder – unexciting.
Clarins – for a very natural look – a bit boring.
Bourjois – have liked some.

I’ve been using Lancome Hypnose and its not that awesome /..
so will Chanel be better?? I have thin lashes and they only look short coz my eyes are deep set.
