Marc Jacobs Block Color Mary Janes
When I first saw these Mary Janes, I thought they would make a cute Valentine’s Day shoe- the burgundy, pink and white are very Valentines-ey, right? Well, apparently they are for spring, but I think you can get away with wearing these in February. Besides, if the groundhog sees his shadow next week, then technically it will be spring, so that means you’ll be “allowed” to wear these a month early.

Well, Marc Jacobs never ceases to amaze me. These tri-colored pumps are totally chic- they can instantly vamp up a simple outfit to ultra classy. And of course, the multi-colors automatically give you more options to wear these with. Don’t feel overly pressured to pair them with a matchy-matchy get-up. For example, it would look hot to wear these with a solid-white or solid burgundy top and jeans.

Keep in mind that the “burgundy” or pink top does not have to match the exact same color as the shoe. You won’t commit a fashion crime if the colors are a bit off, but one thing you want to avoid is a multi-colored blouse, otherwise your outfit will look chaotic.

As for choosing a handbag, opt for a solid color in black, white, burgundy, or pink.
