good evening! it has been a while since i posted on my darling scissor sisters who happen to be one of my favorite bands - they totally rock! after touring the world for over 16 months - they are finally getting a well earned & much deserved break - before they head back to the studio to record their third album! i also must send out congrats to mr. jake shears (damn he's adorable in the first picture below) who will be getting hitched to his yale art student boyfriend chris (who i'm pretty sure i saw in person when i saw the band taped an appearance on passions - oh he's cute just like jake!) many thanks to **kevin tachman** for always keeping me in the loop on what the band has been up to - check out some of his awesome pictures below from the tour ending shows atlondon's 02 & m.e.n arena! after countless concerts, tv performances, and festivals on 4 continents - scissor sisters ended their ta-dah world tour wednesday night at manchester's m.e.n. arena.
the band will be taking a well deserved break and return to the studio after their 16 month journey that has seen them perform in front of a million person crown at berlin's new year's eve celebration, vienna's life ball, at the top of a mountain in ischgl and at one of the premier uk festivals - t in the park.
the band's performance at london's new 02 arena was documented for aDVD expected this fall that will include music videos, rare TV clipsand a behind the scenes documentary. fans can contribute their own clips to the dvd by going to scissorsisters.com for details.
