Unfortunately this decision has not been very well received by fans of Ryan Gosling who strongly believe that the title belongs to him. I may have to agree but I think Gosling fans are definitely overreacting. Not only was Twitter flooded with angry tweets under the #Occupy PeopleMagazine hashtag but fans took it a step further by actually protesting outside People Magazine's New York office with signs like "Ryan Gosling is proof that there is a god and she is a woman." A tad extreme, don't you think? Apparently there were also chants like “Bradley Cooper is just fine, but Ryan Gosling is divine.” Some people have way too much free time. The funniest thing I came across was this article titled "**63 Reasons Why Bradley Cooper Definitely Isn't The Sexiest Man Alive" **with 63 pictures of Ryan Gosling. Haha. However, it looks like Gosling fans will have to go home disappointed. People's executive editor, Liz Sporkin said in a statement "We stand by our man! Bradley Cooper is the whole package. He's gorgeous, talented, brainy, loves his mom, can cook up a storm and speaks fluent French! Who can argue with that?" Apparently a lot of people can.
So who do you think deserves the title of People's Sexiest Man Alive 2011? Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper or someone else perhaps?
