Marc Jacobs collection was very much in keeping with the Fashion Week trends, color-blocking, sequins, nude and natural colors with added purple's, pink's and orange's.
This collection is not my personal taste, but impressive none the less.
Marc Jacobs' show was by far the most star studded of Fashion Week. Those in the front row included:
Anna Wintour, Carmen Electra, Courtney Love, Deborah Harry, Elisha Cuthbert, Heath Ledger, Helena Christensen, Kelly Bensimon, Michael Stipe, Michelle Rodriguez, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mischa Barton, Russell Simmons, Sheryl Crow and Simon Le Bon.
Oscar De La Renta show was full of my favourite pieces - red carpet ready gowns. The collection was a mix of gowns, suits and chic little dresses for 'Ladies Who Lunch'.
Victoria Beckham, Amanda Peet and U.S. Open Championship Roger Federer took in this show.
Luca Luca is one of my favourite designers and he did not let me down yesterday. His collection was full of chiffon, organza and silk pieces. There were floaty knee-length dresses, slim pants and coats in the palest blue's, pink's and grey's. I LOVED the dress that faded from pink and washed to blue at the bottom. Gorgeous collection. Beautifully feminine.
Carmen Electra, Ivana Trump and Padma Lakshmi were all front row.
Jill Stuart collection was full of organza dresses, sheer pants worn over jumpers and silk shorts. I fell in love with the dresses, which came in pale blue, pink, and black.
Bijou Phillips, Carmen Electra, Tinsley Mortimer, Tori Spelling all watched this beautiful show.
Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti's collection was full of stripes, sequins and loose fitting dresses. This was a very minimalist elegant collection.
Alyson Hannigan, Becki Newton, Vanessa Carlton all attended this show.
