Ralph Lauren's Spring 2008 is amazing. It started off with lots of monochrome pieces, then there was an explosion of colour.
I loved the colours, the hats, the androgynous ensembles and the jockey-esh ensembles. The show reminded me of Ladies Day at Ascot.
There's so much playfulness than we would normally expect from Ralph Lauren in this collection and I loved it.
This collection marked his 40th year in fashion and what a great way to celebrate it.
This show was for the heavy-hitters. Guests for this black tie event were Anna Wintour, Sarah Jessica Parker with husband Matthew Broderick, Martha Stewart, Donna Karen, Robert De Niro, Vera Wang, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Donna Karan, Dustin Hoffman, Carolina Herrera, Barbara Walters and many more.
Catherine Malandrino's collection incorporated 3 'R's'. Rosettes, ruffles and radiant colours.
Mena Suvari, Fashion Week regular Sophia Bush, Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige and Emmy Rossum were all front row.
Temperley's collection, like a lot of others, consisted of colours such as eggshell, burnt orange, and ivory.
The collection included short and long jumpsuits, her signature knit dresses, strapless red carpet gowns and like most Spring 2008 shows, belt were used quite a lot.
Stylist Rachel Zoe, Molly Sims, Christy Turlington and Demi Moore all attended this show.
Rebecca Taylor's Spring collection was very girlie and very sophisticated with Rebecca's signatures like sequins and ruffles. Pencil skirts featured heavily in this collection.
Carmen Electra, Emmy Rossum, Natasha Bedingfield, Lisa Edelstein and IMG Fashion Senior Vice President Fern Mallis were all front row.
Diesel mostly known for their jeans also had a show at New York Fashion Week. Nothing in this collection would suit my style.
Demi Moore was in attendance with hubby Ashton Kutcher plus singer Natasha Bedingfield.
