A wedding is supposed to be the day that the bride **shines in all her **glory **-but what if the **groom upstages you by skydiving **to the venue of the **ceremony?
That’s exactly what Shiris Mishra did.
It is supposed to be the happiest day of any woman's life but an **Indian air force official **Sunday decided he could upstage his future wife - by dropping in from 7,000 feet (2,100 metres).
Shisir Mishra, an accomplished sky diver, jumped from a helicopter **and **landed **in a sports ground close to the **bride's home in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa state.

Mishra, along with three friends jumped free fall before opening his parachute a few hundred feet from the ground and landing to cheers from hundreds of well-wishers at the wedding ceremony. Fortunately for bride Sweta Prusty, she was sure that her husband-to-be would “make it”, so she wasn’t scared on his behalf.
Also, the groom **has already made his mark on the **Limca Book of Records for having jumped a 15,000-foot free fall while carrying India****’s national flag.
