Heather Mills has denied Reese Witherspoon will play her in a movie about her life.
Heather, who competed on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ last year, revisited the hit US TV show on Monday and insisted there are no plans for a biopic.
She said: “It would be amazing, but there is no movie. Reese Witherspoon is a fantastic actress, but there will never be a movie.”
Yesterday, it was claimed Heather - who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with Sir Paul McCartney - had flown to the US to discuss a film based on her life story and wanted Reese for the lead role.
The 39-year-old former model, who lost her left leg below the knee after being hit by a motorbike in 1993, also confirmed she is set to undergo surgery after a metal plate in her pelvis broke.
Heather explained: “I have had a broken plate. I had it when I danced here. I have had it for a while, but what happens is it shifts out sometimes so it is kind of sliced in the middle.
“When I lost my leg, the accident also crushed my pelvis so I got two metal plates and one of them is sliced in the middle. It has lots of screws and it occasionally goes out so I can’t move properly.
“My chiropractor puts the screws and plate back in place every day. I have to have surgery, but it is four months on my back and I just can’t take that time out now, I’ve got so many commitments with so many things.”
Heather, who says she is in the US to take part in a panel on “intensive farming, endangered species and global warming”, is said to be keen to arrange revealing interviews with US TV chat show hosts Larry King and Oprah Winfrey during her visit.
