If you’re as much of a music lover as I am, you would know that it takes real talent to come up with an equally good -if not a better version -of an original song by another artist.
From the time of the Beatles **up to now, dozens of songs are still being covered by the biggest **musical **artists -with a touch of ‘contemporary’ embedded in the arrangement. But should artists even attempt to mess with the **classics, or should they just leave them be?
Apparently, Celine Dion made a mistake in this department.
Celine Dion is responsible for the world's worst cover version, a poll of music experts has decided.
The Canadian **star's **rendition **of the AC/DC track **You Shook Me All Night Long **was given the dubious honour in the **Total Guitar magazine survey. Editor Stephen Lawson said Dion's cover was "sacrilege".
The good news is that the **track **was never released as a single.
Other songs which made it in the list of the worst covers include Sugababes and **Girls Aloud for their version of “**Walk This Way”. The number 3 spot belongs to Westlife’s cover of “**More than Words**” -well, they’re a boyband!
The number 4 and 5 spot belonged to Will Young’s cover of Door’s classic “**Light My Fire**” and Mike Flowers who did his own version of “**Wonderwall**”.
