Amour Fragrance by Kenzo

I am a big sissy when it comes to judging fragrance, as you probably know. I like what I like, I don’t what I don’t - and I really don’t know how to tell you why, or what is good or bad about it at all. So, with all that in mind, and the knowledge that I have grown very fond of beautiful perfume bottles, meet Kenzo Amour. This fragrance was released last year, and it is along the lines of the kind of fragrances I like - I have figured out enough to know that floral and woody are two things that are almost always in my favorites. See, I am learning something from Scentzilla, NowSmellThis, and b5media’s newest blog, TheScentedLife! Here is more about it from Kenzo:

Kenzo introduces a soft, sensual, serene fragrance with a floral, woody scent. Olfactory evocations of traveling through Asia, with memories of India, Indonesia, Japan, Burma, and Thailand… Lovely places, filled with vibrant colors and aromas.

Notes: Frangipani blossoms from Bali or Borobudur, Cherry blossoms from Japan, Thanaka wood used decoratively in Burma by women and children. Incense. Thai Rice Steam .Vanilla of la Réunion. White tea from China

In May, which if you are not paying attention is *right around the corner* (OMG timeisgoingbysofast), Kenzo is releasing their alcohol-free scent for summer, Flower by Kenzo. This is in a gorgeous tall, lanky, flowery bottle, too pretty. I will talk more about this one soon.
