1. Catch up on Your Reading
While this is perhaps the most obvious one, it can nonetheless be interesting and fun. Go to a bookstore in the airport and buy a book that you always wanted to read but never had a chance to. Alternatively, buy a book that you have never heard of before and learn something new.
2. Explore New Food
Most of us are creatures of habit and tend to order the same types of food wherever we go. Go to an airport restaurant and try out something that you have never eaten before.
3. People Watching
Most of us are so busy in our lives; we hardly have any time to consider other people in the general public. I think people-watching is by far one of the most fun things to do in an airport. You will be surprised at all the things you observed that otherwise go unnoticed.
4. Take the Time to Exercise

6. Pamper Yourself
Most airports offer some options for getting pampered. If there is a salon, get a facial, manicure or pedicure. Consider getting a new haircut. Perhaps you can get a massage. Or, at least get your shoes shined.
7. Go Shopping
Most of us women will agree that this can be one of the most fun things to do in an airport, but men can also indulge. Even if you have too much time on your hands and don’t want to spend too much money, you can go window shopping.
8. Create a Photo Album
Most of us carry a digital camera or a have a camera in our phones. Ask people if you can take their pictures and create an interesting photo album. Let your creative juices flow!
