It goes without saying that your body needs sleep. If you want to feel better, then you need to get some sleep. I know, it may be hard to push some deadlines forward, but when night falls, make sure you get your 8 hours of rest. If you have to take off from work for one day, then go ahead and tell your boss. Surely, he or she would much rather you stay home so that you can feel better the next day.

Aside from orange juice, it is important that you drink plenty of water. If you are not careful, you could easily get dehydrated, which will lead to even more problems.

Whenever I was a child and I complained of a throat ache, my mom would always tell me to gargle with warm salt water. Now, when my little one complains of a sore throat, I tell her the same thing. I found that gargling with warm salt water really does help ease a sore throat.

When I was sick as a child, I would always get some chicken noodle soup. To this day, I like chicken noodle soup, it’s great to eat on those cold days or when you are dealing with a cold.

Personally, I have never had any luck with it working on vampires, but I have heard that it works wonders when you are sick. Either cook with it, make a special tea or drop it in some soup. Either way you go, when you are sick, try eating garlic and see how that makes you feel.
