L’Oreal has come out with a new collection of eye shadows called HiP Duos. HiP stands for High Intensity Pigments, and the product actually lives up to its name. Personally, I’ve been disappointed by drug store eye shadows in the past, because the color payoff isn’t so great, and it also wears off as quickly as it’s applied. However, you can tell the people at L’Oreal worked hard on creating quality shadows. The HiP Duos are so named because two complimentary shades come together in round compact. The shades are funky and intense, and most work on great all skin tones, however some colors are just plain wrong. Like the grays and the beiges. Stay away from those. Overall, good pricing makes this a reasonable buy for those who want to experiment with certain colors (and HiP has a wide range of colors, with more on the horizon) without regretting the purchase. Definite buy. I’ve got 12 of them!
