The fact of the matter is, you can't please everyone, especially when you are a celebrity. Sometimes with all that fame and money, you are bound to attract as many haters as fans and some celebrities just can't seem to catch a break, no matter how hard they try. Whether the reasons are justified or not, here are the top 10 celebrities we love to hate. And no, I don't personally hate ALL of them.
You know those "I'm with Stupid" tees? I think either(or both) of Heidi and Spencer could wear that tee and it would make perfect sense! Every time I look at them, my brain screams Fake! From the tears on ""I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here", to the wedding pictures on the cover of U.S Weekly after it was supposedly a spur of the moment thing, to the pictures of them kissing with surgical masks on (look below), to Heidi's plastic surgeries, to the excessive drama...yep, these two are fake alright and ANNOYING!
Okay, so she's a terrible singer and actress who has the vocabulary of a three year old and we hate her because she's the granddaughter of a hotel tycoon and her life basically consists of parties, shopping and more parties. Agreed, she hasn't done much to deserve her celebrity status but at least she's entertaining as hell and admit it, secretly, you wouldn't mind her life at all!
I can overlook the celebrity status of Paris Hilton but I simply cannot do the same when it comes to the Kardashian sisters. Yes, they have beautiful faces, gorgeous bodies etc. etc. but is that enough? Add to that the fact that I cannot stand their show! The sisters recently unveiled their line for Bebe on which Tim Gunn (of Project Runway fame) commented, "I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don't think that that should be perpetuated. "I'm sorry I'm sounding like an old farty, snob, but it bothers me." I might have to agree.
I never did quite figure out when and why she became controversy's favorite child. I mean, yes, there have been some questionable, eyebrow raising incidents including the head shaving and some poor wardrobe choices but what's a celebrity without the occasional downward spiral? I'm glad we're leaving her alone finally and I'm glad her life is back on track.
Yes, I know. Team Edward hates Team Jacob and vice versa. I thought it was cute for a while but I'm over it. I think it's important to remember that Rob is not a dreamy vampire and Taylor is not a werewolf. So repeat after me, they are both human and there are no teams. I cant wait for the Twilight phenomenon to end! As of today, I choose to be team Sheila. Woot! :D
I think she's breathtakingly gorgeous and perfect as long as she's not saying a word. Ah! Who am I kidding? I actually find her "words of wisdom" pretty amusing!
I think more than hatred, I just feel sad that Lindsay's wasted her life on alcohol, drugs, eating disorders, DUI arrests and god knows what else. I know her crazy parents are to blame to a large extent and I can only wish that she does a U-turn and cleans up her act. Better late than never right?
Okay, I don't like her music and I hate the Hannah Montana show but that's the least of the issues I have with her. I don't mean to sound moral police like but you just cannot be irresponsible when you have all those young, impressionable girls looking up to you. So far, Miley has done a TERRIBLE job of being a role model. I can almost see her doing a Lindsay Lohan in the near future.
I know I know! She wears outrageous costumes, writes strange lyrics, makes stranger music videos and is not afraid to..well, be different. And I know that most of you think she's overrated and doesn't deserve all that attention. But I love Lady Gaga in all her strangeness!
