Alright, y'all, you've been with us here at Styledash for a few months now, so isn't it about time you actually get to know us beyond what color lip gloss we wear? Over the next few days, we'll be introducing our writers one by one, so stay tuned to get all the juicy 411. To start off, let's meet the newest member of the Styledash team, Tracey Gaughran-Perez:

Tracey Gaughran-Perez is a thirtysomething former academic turned stay-at-home mom from Baltimore, MD. She is mother to a spirited preschooler and a psychotic pug.

In addition to her fabulously stylish contributions here at Styledash, Tracey writes the personal blog Sweetney, and co-authors a pop culture blog called Mamapop. She was a featured speaker at the 2006 BlogHer conference on the panel "Mommyblogging As A Radical Act," and will also be speaking at the 2007 SXSWi conference on the "Parent Bloggers 2.0" panel.

Tracey describes her style as quirky and humorous, with definite leanings toward the handmade and unique. She loves creative contradictions and juxtapositions of styles, bizarre fusions of the popular and eccentric, the cutting edge and the nostalgic. That said, she can't seem to stay out of H&M or Target, and doesn't consider her hours spent gazing longingly at Anthropologie catalogs something to be ashamed of.
