I wasn't born in sensitive skin, unfortunately, end up getting one. That's something you really don't want, trust me. Over the years, I've been searching for product that could completely get rid of it and guess what? You can't. It's one of those things that once you get it, you can't never "live without it." However, there are some DOs and DON'Ts that I've learn myself that help my skin stay claim in the past few years and I'd love to share with you.
Cost of sensitive skin:
Born with think skin. (Sorry that you don't have choice)
Bad cosmetic choice. Esp. bad cleanser. (That's me.) Because my skin gets oily very easily, I thought I need a "strong" cleanser to clean my skin. What I didn't know was some of those cleanser is too strong for your skin. You only need to worry about dead skin once a week, not everyday.

DOs and DON'Ts**
Choose products that do not contain potential allergens such as fragrance or PABA sunscreens.
Use cool water to wash your face. Not warm. Never hot.
Do not dry your face right the way. Wait few seconds...
Do not use rough towel to dry your face. Do pat your face dry with a soft towel.
Never try new product without test on your wrist first. Do change your cosmetic product only one at the time.
Do use sun-screen lotion and cream. Avoid getting sun burn. (sorry if you are a big tan fan.)
Do keep a close eye on your skin between seasons.
Always keep a piece of mask in refrigerate in case your skin get rush. Icy cool mask can claim down your skin.
If your skin start irritating, stop using any cosmetic product. Give your skin a chance to heal by itself.
Below, are some of the products I've used or have been receiving good feedbacks.
I am a big fan of Neutrogena. Not because it improves my skin by any means, because it has been very safe for me. My skin feels normal. I haven't had rush since I started using it and I am going to stick with it. Although I don't dare to use anything else but there are few products that I am very attempt to to give a try.
I've heard so much about Clarins's product for dry and sensitive skin. In fact some of my friends have been recommended it to me for quite few times.
Gentle Foaming Cleanser cleanses more thoroughly than a soap, with the gentle benefits of a cleansing milk. The soft, light foam thoroughly removes surface impurities while protecting skin's delicate balance. Promotes a "soap-and-water clean" feeling with no tightness, dryness or irritation.
