The VH1 Rock Honors airs this Thursday night, May 24th. This is the third year of the event which salutes those musicians and bands that have influenced the sound of rock. This year the event recognized rock legends Heart, Genesis, ZZ Top and Ozzy Osbourne.
On Thursday night you'll see some contemporary artists pay tribute to the honorees by covering some of their hits: Nickelback for ZZ Top, Gretchen Wilson with Alice in Chains for Heart, Queens for the Stone Age for Ozzy and Keane for Genesis.
