My name is Schantel Blair, I am 21 years of age and live in Queens NY. I am a nurses assistant currently employed at Brookdale nursing home in Brooklyn NY. I also attend nursing school and expecting my first child this May. I love to write, I usually write about something that happened through out the day, songs or basically anything that comes to my mind. I would love to write for a news paper or magazine that's always been my dream so when I saw the posting on my AWS app I immediately submitted my writing. I've always wanted to do something I love or something that seem so effortless to me and get paid or to be recognized for it. Becoming a new mom has given me more to write about such as what's its Luke being pregnant, working, going to school and still staying fit. Writing is one of the greatest gifts we as humans have and I think we should embrace it more.
