Sarah Dowdell brings more than two decades of experience working within OC fashion and retail world to her new boutique, Love & Whiskey, which opened in Irvine in January 2013. Born and raised in Orange County, Sarah has always had her finger on the pulse of what OC shoppers are looking for in their quest for the latest trends and hard-to-find pieces. Expertise she gleaned working at high-end retailers at South Coast Plaza including St. John Knits, Baccarat, and TSE Cashmere.
In 2011, Sarah and her husband Mike decided to pursue their desire to provide Orange County with feminine, colorful, bohemian styles at exceptional prices – and Deer Lovely at The OC Mix at South Coast Collection was born. The wildly successful concept has grown to be a sought-after store for all of OC’s shoppers, and now includes a men's store, Whiskey Tango 1977. Sarah buys for what’s new and what’s next at Love & Whiskey, which has created a Boho-Americana vibe, showcasing trending, not-often-seen men’s and women’s fashion collections and pieces.
When she is not at her two stores, she enjoys reading fashion blogs, travelling and spending time with family.
