Paris Hilton looked as if she forgot to take off her nightdress as she took to the street in a lingerie-style slip of a silk dress - which was so short it left her matching blue tights exposed and barely covered her modesty.
Reformed bad-girl Paris Hilton wore the bizarre outfit to meet her pregnant pal Nicole Richie for lunch in Los Angeles yesterday.
In a vain attempt to create a proper outfit, the heir-head, 26, threw on a pair of shades, a chain, the tights and some shoes and took her nightwear on the road to keep a lunch date with her former Simple Life co-star.
But despite her rapidly expanding waistline, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, still managed to look pretty svelte next to Paris, who looked somewhat over-exposed in her barely-there frock.
A rear view of the outfit shows Paris was saved from complete exposure by her opaque blue tights which went some way to protecting her modesty.
Along with Paris’ younger sister Nicky Hilton, the hotel heiress, who has only just returned from a busy trip to China met with pal Nicole to lunch at ‘Forte’ restaurant in downtown Beverly Hills.
It was a slightly more sedate style of socialising, which is in stark contrast to their former hell-raising years when both were permanent fixtures on the LA party scene.
Heavily pregnant Nicole, 26, appears to have hung up her party shoes in preparation for motherhood.
Their apparent closeness seemed to put paid to reports suggesting their on/off friendship was under strain again.
One of Nicole’s pals had accused Paris of leaking photos of the mother-to-be’s recent baby shower. But Paris’ spokesman denied the claims.
The aspiring actress and socialite recently co-hosted the Wizard Of Oz-themed baby shower for her friend at the Beverly Hills Hotel, along with Nicole’s sister Sophia.
“I am so happy for her, it is really great,” Paris told reporters as she arrived at the bash.
“I can’t wait for them to have the baby.”
Nicole and boyfriend Joel Madden have yet to confirm the sex of the new addition to their family, but they reportedly received mainly blue gifts, therefore could be expecting a boy.
