Lady Gaga might as well be christened the master of this hideous trend considering all the times we've seen her without any pants. I'm also pretty sure that her perpetual lack of pants is to be blamed for all the other pantless celebrities running loose out there. Why Gaga, why?

Someone needs to tell Taylor that thigh high socks are not the same thing as pants and this isn't the only time she was seen in this bizarre S&M inspired attire. You know what I hate more than the absence of pants though? The fact that she tries SO hard to come across as a rebel.

Earlier this year, Rihanna was seen strutting her stuff in the Big Apple wearing this outfit. I get the idea of a shirt dress but THIS is just a shirt. And no, I don't care about how hot July in New York is.
The Barbadian beauty isn't shy when it comes to making fashion statements, but some might argue this takes breezy summer attire to a whole new level. Whether she's starting a trend or just avoiding a sticky fashion situation, one thing's for sure: Rihanna owns her look. What's next, ditching skirts for scarves? If anyone can pull it off, it's her. But for us mere mortals, perhaps keeping it cool and clothed is the way to go. Or at least, maybe invest in a pair of shorts?

A lot of people have been attacking her about the weight gain, but honestly, I think NO ONE should forget pants, not even if you have the best body in the world.
