There have been rumors floating around recently that Pete Wentz is set to collaborate with Ashlee Simpson on her upcoming album, but Wentz is denying such stories as "silly" to MTV News, via email. "I want no part in selling a relationship," writes Wentz. He admits he likes what he's heard of her demo, though.
Still, the birthday boy does have a couple of other things in the works. He and FOB frontman Patrick Stump on working on "writing a story that we kind of want to end up animated. Not too sure on whether it will ever go or how much of a 'Hollywood' project it would be. But it is kind of a narrative that seems to be nonexistent in recent animated stories."
And keep your eyes peeled in the coming days for the new Fall Out Boy video, "The Take Over, The Breaks Over," which Wentz calls " 'The Science of Sleep' meets 'The Dog Whisperer.'"
An animated story from the Fall Out Boy bassist? I'm guessing it's going to be more South Park than Finding Nemo, as far as the MPAA ratings go. And he doesn't want to sell his relationship, but he's selling out on the Honda Civic Tour? What's up with that, punk rock boy?
