London Last Minute Valentine's Specials

Valentine's Day is a few days away - did you forget to make dinner reservations at the hottest restaurant? It's a little too late for that now, but that doesn't mean you can't still score some points in the romance department by being a little creative.

From Masquerade Balls to exotic hothouses, champagne skylines to sultry jazz - here are some last minute ideas to save you from the dog house! As of publication tickets were still available for all of the below events...

There's nothing more romantic than a city skyline view at sunset - and no place better in all of London to see it than the top of the London Eye. Indulge in a champagne flight, sipping bubby as you watch the Houses of Parliament, the Thames, and the lighted city unfold below. Big spenders can impress by hiring their own private capsule, complete with a bottle of Laurent-Perrier and truffles. Love is (literally) in the air!

The stunning Kew Gardens is a romantic and unique setting for whispering sweet-nothings in your lover's ear. They're doing a Tropical Valentine's Day amongst the orchids and exotic hothouse flora. Champagne, canapes, and/or dinner served in the lovely Princess of Wales Conservatory. Afterwards, go for a moonlit stroll through the gardens.

There's nothing more seductive than sultry jazz, and this Valentine's Day Spitz combines smooth sounds, with food and art in an intimate atmosphere for a night to remember. Get your groove on and make your moves, hep cat style. Who can resist "sax" appeal?

And for next year... Save your penniesfor a Valentine Masquerade Ball. Saturday night saw a live cabaret, circus performers, fire-eaters, magician, psychic, swing-band and D.J hit central Shoreditch. Dress code was strictly old-school glamour: mask with Venetian masquerade/burlesque/gorgeous Ball-gowns or traditional Black Tie. Best of all, all the proceeds will to help terminally ill children - that's a gesture sure to earn you more kisses than a tired box of Milk Tray.
