Once again, Derek Lam has delivered a truly inventive, highly covetable handbag **that doesn’t look like anything else out there. Meet his **Consuelo Bag, which sports ribbed brandy-colored madras leather along with matching smooth leather trim (love that warm caramel hue!), tonal topstitching, and aged brass hardware. I especially like the whimsical loops of the rolled leather handles; a removable shoulder strap is thrown in for good measure. It’s elegant but artistic at the same time.
