Spring is finally here and I am so excited. I have suffered through winter (okay suffer is a strong word I do live in L.A) and I am ready to change seasons. With the changing of seasons comes the changing of my makeup bag and it's contents. Here are some of the spring beauty products that are on my radar and will soon be charged to my Amex after I tear through Sephora.
**
For the face:** Tinted moisturizer is a great option when the temperature rises. Foundations can be heavy and uncomfortable plus they don't give you that "glow." Clinique's Up-Lighting Liquid Illuminator gives an amazing glow and scores tons of compliments too. If tinted moisturizers aren't your things, MAC has created a mineral makeup that has SPF for a light and skin-friendly option.
**For the eyes: **When it comes to buying spring cosmetics I like to get as much bang for my buck. Getting a shadow duo or full on palette is a wise move. For less than $30 you can get a 10-color palette from Sugar that will take care of all of your color needs. If you are into neon brights for spring (they are totally in style) go for this shadow duo from Nars called Rated R.
**
For the lips:** Nothing says spring to me like a nice pink lip color. There are some great new items out like Smashbox's O-Glow, which changes color, based on your body's chemistry. If all of that chemistry freaks you out, try something more natural like Cargo's lip color. Once you have finished your tube of lipstick you can plant it in the ground and it will sprout into a flower -- no joke.
Whatever products you choose for your face this spring just make sure they are bright, light, and cheery ... after all spring has sprung!
