Without a second thought, I dragged her into the nearest cosmetic counter at Bergdorf Goodman and asked the sales associate for help. "Can you help her please? She looks like she's wearing a mask!" I blurted out. The associate’s response was legendary: "I hope she's either your sister or your best friend because those are the only people you should take that kind of abuse from."

Thankfully, we became best friends that day and have been sharing our makeup secrets with each other ever since. We’ve stood by each other through every beauty triumph and disaster.
