I just found out that my best friend from HS has HIV. I love him so much, because he always gave me support when I am lonely, when I need feedback about what to wear or what not to wear, my hair, shoes, etc. When I was lonely because I was let down on a date, he was there. I wanted to die fr loneliness but he was there to remind me how special & lucky I am to be healthy + beautiful inside & out.
I pray his medication will enable to will live a long time.
He told me about this benefit event, that he & his friends plan to go. It's a charity event that benefits Housing Work’s programs for homeless New Yorkers living with HIV + AIDS.
