The year was 1999, the place was my living room and I sat on my couch surrounded by my canned goods just waiting for the decade and world to end. But the world didn't end. In fact, we all flourished and rocketed our way towards economic downfall without so much as thinking about the decade we had left behind. But now, 10 years later, I find myself longing for that decade. Instead, I'll immerse myself in everything from the 90's I miss! The following are the things that I can't help but miss from the 90's.

Tae Bo, the world's biggest mone- making video at the time. People watched it, people exercised with it, people wrote songs with witty remarks about it. All in all Billy Blanks made boat-loads of cash with his Billy's Boot camp and other assortment of videos. And I for one miss the time when people were crazy for these videos.

Flannel is back in but I still miss being able to wear my Doc Martins with my over sized flannel tied around the waist of my baggy and cut up jeans. Something about being dirty is fun sometimes, and I for one miss the whole unwashed grunge look.

This show was absolutely amazing. The sexual chemistry and tension between Mulder and Scully could be cut with a knife and the story lines were great despite them being slightly far-fetched. Since the X Files ended I haven't seen anything that's nearly as good with the supernatural... although that Fringe show looks like it's coming pretty close.

Has anyone seen the latest versions of the Power Rangers? They're pretty cool and everything, but nothing can beat the old-school poorly put together and poorly dubbed Power Rangers. The action scenes used to be so bad it was awesome, and now all that Power Rangers lacks is a decent script.

They may be a blantant rip off of Abba but everyone here knows darn well that they used to rock out to "I Saw The Sign." I personally miss the days that I could rock out to some horribly great tunes. I hear that they're still touring... maybe I'll see them when they come to my town!

The term "as if" was coined with this movie. I absolutely loved the crazy baby doll dresses, hats, and short skirts that were all over this movie and it's a brainless watch. You don't have to think at all you just move right along with the story. Plus it's like totally hilarious and it's like really cool and stuff. Best line ever? "You see how picky I am about shoes, and they're only going on my FEET." Classic!
I miss these commercials so much. Basically no matter what, they always showed young and attractive people being put into situations that would make anyone else have a little temper tantrum. Instead, these young and attractive people pop a Mento in their mouth and come up with cool and creative solutions. And the people in the background saluting them for breathing deeply and thinking outside of the box. Personally I miss the days when commercials were this simple and cute.

Although they were scantily clad and had some pretty suggestive lyrics, the Spice Girls' music always had a playfulness. It was fun music and you always had fun dancing to it. Since then there hasn't been a single girl band that's reached the super stardom that the Spice Girls had in the late 90's.

Every teenage girl in the world, along with some of their mothers, were CRAZY over boy bands. N*Sync, The Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, O Town, they were all successful and had some really loyal fans. Now, everyone is split up and working on solo careers. But I miss the days when they were all together, even if their music was a little... over the top. I loved it at the time.
Well ladies, this is what I miss from the 90's. Is there anything you miss from this fantastic decade? Is there anything that you would like to add to my list? Let me know down below!
