7 of My New Year Resolutions ...

I love to write down a few resolutions, though I've never been able to keep them very good. Just for fun, I wanted to share my 7 New Year's Resolutions for this coming year.

1 Lose Some Weight

I want to knock off a few pounds this coming year. My goal is to even be smaller than I was when I married! What do you think my hubby will think about that? I can't wait to get to buy a brand new wardrobe!

Frequently asked questions

2 Get into Shape

On top of losing weight, I want to get fit. I want to be able to run full-throttle after my three year old for hours and not get out of breath!

3 Fix up My Home

I am ready to get these renovations done that have been waiting to be done for a while now. I am hoping to add me a new living room on and another bedroom, and get this place fixed up a bit more!

4 Keep from over-Scheduling

I have a confession - I'm a help-a-holic! If someone needs me, I'm quick to say, "I'll be there!" Too many times, I end up scheduling myself up so much that I neglect the most important things in my life - my hubby, child and my home! I hope to keep from doing that so much this next year, and learn to say "No" sometimes.

5 Learn More about Photography

I love photography! I'm trying to make it a second career, and yet I have so much to learn! This coming year, I'm going to take the time to sit down and take some classes that will better my photography in the future. I want to be the next Sandy Puc! Think my ambitions are a little high?

6 Get Better at My Music

I love to play the piano and sing! I've been playing the piano for 18 years now, and yet I know that I can be better! There is always room for improvement, and I intent on doing just that!

7 Learn to Appreciate My Family More

This month, my brother shipped off for Basic Training, and I quickly realized how much I valued his opinion, how much his phone calls and chats meant to me, how much I had grown to depend on his hugs to make my day brighter. I miss him terribly, and from this day on, I plan on making every second count with my family - because one never knows what tomorrow holds.

There, I made my 7 resolutions public, so maybe I can be in that 10% of women that keep their resolutions this coming year! What do you think about my resolutions?
