7 Best Homemade Holiday Treats ...

I love a homemade gift. This is because I know the person who made the gift put a lot of time and effort into the gift they choose for me. Homemade treats takes time and you may put a lot of work into these gifts, but in the end, they are worth it! Here is a list of 7 easiest treats to make and give away, this holiday!

1 Santa Truffles

Use pre-made truffles and dip them in melted chocolate. Dab a small amount of pink frosting, flatten mini marshmallows to use for the beard. Cut a red fruit slice in half to use for the hat and mini vanilla chips for the trim. Use a mini red M&M for a nose and mini chocolate chips for the eyes.

You can make Santa pretzels the same way as above, except use mini marshmallows for the beard, mini red M&M’s for a nose and mini red gum drops for a hat.

6 Mini Mittens

This cue decoration is quick and easy! Use a child size mitten as a pattern and use the material from one of your children’s baby outfits. Make two mittens and attach together with yarn. I did this with an outfit from my youngest son and we hang it on the Christmas tree every year. This is also nice to give to grandparents as a gift.

7 Photo Ornaments

This is an easy way to capture a memory every year. Snap photos on Christmas morning and use the best, or funniest, or sweetest ones for a keepsake ornament for grandma and grandpa or aunts and uncles next year. These are gifts that will never be thrown away and they will always be appreciated and loved.

I hope at least one of these ideas has inspired you to get busy and make a unique gift this year for your family and friends. Which one did you like the most?
