5 Beauty Products for a Ski Bunny ...

[This lovely post was written by the wonderful Arianne of Glitter Geek. Take a peek to see which products to bring to your next ski trip.]

It's an absolute pleasure for my blog, Glitter Geek, to be featured as one of the best beauty blogs on All Women Stalk. When I was asked to post a guest entry on All Women Stalk, I was getting ready for another weekend snowboarding getaway. As a beauty blogger, of course I had to look cute while tearing it up on the slopes ('kay, I lied, but I'm getting better :P). So here are my 5 essential beauty products for all you ski bunnies out there.

1 Clinique Sun SPF 50 Face Cream

Clinique Sun SPF 50 Face Cream Before you can look cute, the most important thing is to slather on sun protection. Because you're up in the mountains, you have to be extra careful about sun exposure. Clinique Sun SPF 50 Face Cream provides an oil-free broad spectrum coverage. It didn't feel greasy on my combination/oily skin at all.

Frequently asked questions

2 Benefit PosieTint

Benefit PosieTint Benefit PosieTint is a liquid blush, not cream or powder. When you do extreme sports, even if it's a winter sport, you will get hot and sweat (in my case, sweat a lot). PosieTint does not melt off my cheeks even through a day of snowboarding. The result is perfectly flushed, pink cheeks. Make sure you are well moisturized to reduce streaking on application. Another plus: it can also double up as a lip stain. You gotta love multi-purpose beauty products!

3 CoverGirl LashBlast Waterproof

CoverGirl LashBlast Waterproof Repeat after me: Waterproof mascara is my best friend. CoverGirl LashBlast gives me the most bang for my buck when it comes to mascaras. My lashes are fatter, longer, and curled all day long. I have never experienced flaking or smudging with this mascara. Besides, a ski bunny is never complete without fluttery lashes, right?

4 Smith's Rosebud Salve

Smith's Rosebud Salve You gotta keep those lips supple and moisturized. Smith's Rosebud Salve is a cult favourite for a reason: it is very soothing to the lips, with a rose scent that is intoxicating. Whenever I'm snowboarding, my lips always take a toll so make sure those lips are well protected. Also, use it on dry hands for hand cream when you're in a pinch!

5 Crabtree & Evelyn Naturals Body Scrub in Cocoa Butter, Nutmeg & Cardamom

Crabtree & Evelyn Naturals Body Scrub in Cocoa Butter, Nutmeg & Cardamom Can't forget about the rest of your body! Crabtree & Evelyn's line of body products in Cocoa Butter, Nutmeg & Cardamom scent is my absolute favourite. I think my beauty blogging heart would break if they ever discontinue this product. This body scrub feels incredible against the skin during a long hot shower at the end of the day. And the smell! It is divine. This scrub is not only an amazing exfoliator, but it also doubles as a body moisturizer because of the cocoa butter. And I'll let you in on a little secret: it is so delicious that my boyfriend, who wouldn't even use the facial cleanser I bought him, enjoyed this body scrub, too! :)
