I am so going to miss my daily dose of the Cannes Film Festival. All the movies, the stars and most of all the spectacular red carpet fashion! As a befitting ode to all the visual extravagance, I bring to you some of my favorite looks from Cannes this year. 11 women, 14 fabulous looks! Sit back and enjoy and I warn you, you might die a little inside of jealousy...
Honestly, I'm not an Eva fan but when I saw her wearing this (what can only be described as) ethereal Emilio Pucci silk chiffon gown, I had to give her credit. Imagine, what it would be like to get married in one of these. Sigh! The only thing I would change if at all are those coral earrings.

I took one look at Salma in this deep red, first of its kind couture gown from the Gucci Première collection and I was in love! It fits her like a dream and the color looks fantastic against her skin tone. By the way, what do you think of her shorter do?

After almost ruining a gorgeous Elie Saab dress with an oversized bouffant, I was elated to see Aishwarya Rai in this magenta Gucci pleated chiffon gown, perfect hair et all. Finally, a look that does this beauty some justice!

I always look forward to seeing Diane on the red carpet. She's such a fashionista, almost always wearing something deliciously interesting and she does not fail to deliver in this black and fuschia Jason Wu dress. And I don't even like pink!

Sure the girls look slightly uncomfortable but there's a certain celestial quality to this Gucci nude one-shouldered gown that lights her up! Classy, no?

Just because you're at Cannes doesn't mean you have to stick to long (albeit stunning) gowns. Michelle breaks the long dress curse by wearing an adorable Sonia Rykiel Fall 2008 multi coloured pailette mini dress. Fun fun!

Oh my! I LOVE the medusa necklace Kristin chose for this outfit! It's refreshing to say the least and adds some much needed drama to her otherwise simple charcoal Lanvin dress. Gorgeous? I think so.

Yes, it's probably a wee bit risqué but why fear when you have a perfect body like Cheryl's? And while she looks nothing less than fabulous in this Versace dress, I wish she'd get over the poofy hair do she always seems to be sporting.

Mullet dresses are not usually my cup of tea but a stunner like this one deserves to be admired and spoken of for years to come (Okay, maybe that was a little too much) but look at how dreamy and exquisite Elizabeth looks. This Georges Chakra dress is nothing less than a work of art.

Lost cutie Evangeline Lilly stole the show not once but twice at Cannes. Firstly, in a funky Emilio Pucci dress which she paired with lustworthy Ferragamo blue satin pumps and secondly, in a demure, pretty Valentino lace gowns. Both looks were on opposite ends of the spectrum but she looked equally ravishing on both occasions!

And now, it's time for my favorite Cannes celebrity this year, Kate Beckinsale! She's dainty, feminine and impossibly pretty and I love, love, love each of these looks. Her stylist deserves a raise and how!
Kate looked absolutely alluring in this Gucci Première gown at the 'Wall Street' Premiere. You can't go wrong with silver and you can't go wrong with embellishments!

Kate was at her feminine best in this beautiful pink Temperly London drape gown at the Chopard party. I just wish she had chosen some strappy heels instead of pumps to go with it.

And last but not the least was Kate's mesmerizing Marchesa blue gown that she donned for the 'Robin Hood' premiere . Fabulous in tulle!

The only phrase that comes to mind at the end of all those divine dresses- Ooh La la! Tell me what your favorite look was (even if it doesn't include one of these). Over and out, until next year!
