**Yves Saint Laurent’s Volume Effet Faux Cils Mascara** is one of relatively new **top ranking mascaras** from this luxurious designer range. The product claims to create results similar to the **effect of false lashes, **but let's see if it really does!

**Product Claims:**
Create an intense look in a single stroke with our must-have industry leading mascara; its secret – the triple film complex. It combines a coating film for instensity, a conditioning film for curve and a fixing film for long lasting effectiveness. Even the brush applicator features nylon fibers of varying diameters for volume enhancement.
**My Experience: **
In my opinion this mascara is definitely one of the most effective. However, it only did as much as mascara can do to create false lashes! I don’t think I looked like I was wearing false lashes, but there was definitely volume, curve and the colour stayed intact all day. I could see results from the first application. I think the brush is well designed. It felt sleek and my lashes had a nice, thick glossy coat without any clumping. Overall, I would rate this product very highly and the only thing I would change is it’s name - as it created a dramatic effect but it wasn’t quite magical!
